The good thing is you can get BI 5 for half the price and be entitled to all updates until v6. If you just want to have the latest version to stay on top of new features and such, it's going to cost. Just my opinion, but I don't know that there ever was an option for a major version upgrade for free. Me? I don't need them, especially if I have to pay. BI 4 does way more than I need it to, and so you have to ask yourself if you need the new features. I have version 4 too, and soon after, version 5 was released. How long past the deadline do you think is fair for them to make an exception? A month later than the deadline? 6 months? What would be fair? So you want them to give you a free version upgrade, even though you are past the time limit according to their upgrade policy. No idea how I would get you a copy across easily tho.Īh, I get it now. Then decided to keep them, space is cheap. I have had to revert to an older version for one reason or another. I have the below full installer versions as on more then one occasion ![]()
